Katie and Kevin suffered a terrible fire where the smoke damaged most of their downstairs. Thankfully no one was hurt, but the damage was irreversible and the couple would need a complete home remodel. With the help of The Kitchen Company, Katie and Kevin transformed their outdated kitchen into the kitchen of their dreams.
Before
This outdated kitchen needs a complete overhaul with new kitchen cabinetry, appliances, and a more functional layout. The island is too small for the stove top to be functional and has no room for seating.
After
The color palette in their new kitchen brings light and warmth into the space. The wall cabinets are extended all the way up to the ceiling and white crown is added around the room. A new island centers the space with extra counter-top and seating for two.
The stove-top is moved from its old space in the island to the adjacent wall to provide a better work flow. The refrigerator sits on the back wall of the kitchen next to the microwave for easy accessibility. Adjacent to that are recessed cabinets with glass shelves that act as a makeshift hutch.
